Privacy
The short version: this website does not ask you for anything, does not set advertising cookies, and does not track you across the internet.

What this website collects
No forms. There is no contact form, intake form, or newsletter signup on this site. We deliberately do not collect names, phone numbers, or circumstances through the web, because a record of a survivor’s situation is a risk to that survivor.
No advertising or social tracking. There are no Facebook pixels, advertising tags, or third-party trackers on this site.
Basic, anonymous statistics. We count page visits so we know which pages people need. Our analytics are cookieless and do not identify individual visitors.
Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google’s servers see the request. If this matters to you, use the phone.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another organization — a hotline, a state agency — that site has its own privacy practices, which we do not control. Following a link will place that site in your browser history.
Your browser history is the real risk
Nothing we do on our end protects you from someone who has access to your device. Please read , and use the Quick exit button at the top of any page to leave immediately.
Client confidentiality
Separately from this website: information you give an advocate, a case manager, or a counselor is confidential. Families In Crisis does not release client information without written consent, except where law requires disclosure — including suspected abuse or neglect of a child, or of an elderly or disabled person.
If you want to know exactly what those limits mean before you say anything, ask. An advocate will explain them first.
Payments
Donations are processed by a third-party payment provider on their own secure pages. Card numbers are never entered on, transmitted through, or stored by familiesincrisis.net.
